really depressing things

Human life seems to be really stupid and pointless. Our entire goal seems to be to entertain ourselves. How do we go about this? Well we eat, sleep, and try to gain possessions. Our main way of obtaining possessions is to get a job, to perform a task is exchange for money. This task is often not enjoyable and quite boring. So the first step in our quest for happiness is to establish a happiness deficit. In order to balance this deficit, we have to entertain ourselves to get back to a neutral happiness. The effort required to do this puts us into resource debt, which is why we have a job. The goal is somehow to increase your resource surplus until you can maintain happiness. The way that you do this is to do a useless task long enough that instead of getting paid to do the original task, you get promoted and now are paid to force others to do the original useless task. Your increased happiness is because you have passed off part of your happiness deficit to others. You are happy because someone else is unhappy instead of you. You spend your life essentially ripping people off and then you die. Those who are either good at it, or ignorent of the process may have a lifetime surplus of happiness.

If real life was a game it would be the crappiest game ever.
